Mitchell was also the singer/songwriter for the Melodic Rock/AOR band of DIRTY WHITE BOYZ. Nowadays, Tony Mitchell is releasing his forth full-length solo opus entitled "Radio Heartbeat". The new album is going to be released through Pride And Joy Music this July.
Apart from Tony Mitchell on vocals/guitars/keys, the musicians that are contributing here are MILES MEAKIN (guitars), NIGEL BAILEY (bass) and EDDIE ANTONY (drums).
"Blue Lightning", the opener, kicks-off things here in a very impressive and hard rockin' way. This song is about the story of the legendry 70s/80s Scottish singer songwriter, Frankie Miller. The rockin' "Radio Heartbeat" is a cool tune while in "Another Beat Of My Heart" and "Borderline" we have two great and edgy melodic rock gems in a very Bon Jovi-esque way! "Top Of The World" is a fantastic mid-tempo/power ballad again with a big Bon Jovi influence in it! One of my personal favourites here! "Sunflower Girl" is again a very good and feel-good track!
I really enjoyed every single moment of "Radio Heartbeat"! It's a damn rocking and full of great and up-beat moments album that the sure thing is that will make your day! Well done!
