REVIEW : Nationwide, Echoes (Pride & Joy Music Release: 18 October 2024)

NATIONWIDE is the new amazing band presented by Pride & Joy Music. Well-known songwriters Carl Berglund and Peter Ledin decided to put together the band that they dreamed of, a band that would close the gap between classic melodic rock/AOR and modern rock and bring something new to the melodic rock scene. 

With the addition of bass player Mikael Hagström (ex- Age of Reflection), drummer Richard Holmgren (ex: Scaar, Grand Design, Wolf) and singer Daniel Groth, NATIONWIDE was born! 

The new album, "ECHOES", is been recorded and produced by Carl Berglund at Studio RainRoom, Västerås, Sweden and mixed and mastered by the 'mighty' Erik Martensson of ECLIPSE!! 

The music here is basically melodic rock/edgy AOR with some more up-to-date rock pinches and the final result is really excellent. The big choruses are here, the 'clever' hooks are here too and the musicianship is really excellent. Song after song is pure melodic rock bliss and keeps you hungry for more. 

Tracks such as the Def Leppard-ish "Without You", the up-beat "Dreams", "Passion Ignite", "Reason" and the ultra catchy "Echoes" are melodic rock heaven at the highest order!  

"ECHOES" is the album and NATIONWIDE is the band! Remember the name of the band and the title of this incredible record! It's one of those records that will stay for a long long time in your cd player, spotify e.t.c.!! Killer stuff!!!
