REVIEW : JUPITER FALLS / Revolution (2015)

Jupiter Falls is a 5-piece hard rock band from Leeds, England. Formed in 2013, the quintet consists of lead vocalist James Hart, lead guitarist Deano Silk, rhythm guitarist Zachari Daniels, bass guitarist Dan Clark and Drummer Lewie Lewington.

With shows completed throughout France and all corners of the U.K., the band achieves to gather rave reviews supporting Jake E Lee's Red Dragon Cartel @ European & UK Tour, Jupiter falls’ have the whole package for some bigger things in the near future. The "Revolution" album shows the great chemistry of the band and it's an album that has been recorded by the band and Produced by the Legendary Producer Roy Z who has already worked with big names such as Judas Priest, Yngwie Malmsteen, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford to name just a few.

The sound of Jupiter Falls can be described as modern hard rock with emphasis on strong melodies, powerful and passionate vocals, 'fat' guitars and clever hooks and choruses. James Hart has a strong and voice and the guitar duo of Silk and Daniels delivering some really cool guitar work. The rhythm section is tight and the final result is a pleasant listening for the fans of the modern rock sound.

For me, the ultra highlight here is the amazing "Story Of A Liar". Yep, this tune is simply breathtaking; a 'dark' and in-your-face rocker with a haunting melody this track made me pushed the repeat button several times. The guitar solo is stunning here! There are, also, some other great rockers to check out like "To The Point", "Awake" and "When The Time Is Right". Very interesting is the very Nickelback-esque "World War Three" that is among my favorite tunes from this new album.

Pretty solid record from a band that has the whole package to go further in this particular scene! They have plenty of talent and they also know how to write a good rock song with heart and soul and that's a thing that counts the most!
