Gianluca Firmo (Room Experience) signs deal with Street Symphonies Records for debut solo release

Street Symphonies Records is very proud to announce the signing of Room Experience's mastermind Gianluca Firmo, for the release of his eponymous solo debut album.

Recordings are actually taking place at the Atomic Stuff Recording Studio (Isorella, Italy) under the technical supervision of Oscar Burato, with production duties handled by Gianluca himself.

Gianluca says: "Many of the songs I wrote (and I write) can’t be included in Room Experience albums, because not all the shades of melodic rock fit that kind of record. Beside that, I love singing, but my voice is not made for very high notes. Considering all this, I thought to pick some of my songs from those I love the most, and try to make a straight and forward melodic rock record, but less oriented in style."

REVIEW : SAILING TO NOWHERE -- “LOST IN TIME” (2017)

A couple of years back I reviewed a really interesting album that grabbed my attention at once. Sailing To Nowhere's debut release, "To The Unknown", was a damn fine slice of melodic power metal platter full of strong melodic lines, heavy riffs and solos, solid performances and a bunch of some killer songs that left me with a sweet impression.

Warrant is a band that since its creation has sold millions of records worldwide, had two Top Ten Billboard albums, five Top 40 Billboard hits, five #1 MTV videos...and the list goes on and on!!! Pretty impressive! Warrant was one of the most popular and successful hard rock bands that came out of Hollywood, CA in the late 80's, early 90's. Albums like their debut or 'Cherry Pie" are classic!!

I really like this band a lot. Either with "Antillius: The King Of The Light", in 2014, or with the brilliant "Twilight Of The Gods", in 2015, KALEDON is a solid Epic Power Metal band that when it comes to deliver a strong record it's there to offer powerful songs with great arrangements that please every fan of this scene.

REVIEW : CHANS -- Hard Won (2017)

Chans is a two-piece Rock/Alternative band that was formed in fall of 2016. The duo is recognized for their high-intense energy and live performances and from their previous/current bands(The Fallacy, Trench). They combined their inspirations and influences into writing hard hitting instrumentals but, also, singing harmonized heart-full alternative rock music.

REVIEW : Mean Streak -- Blind Faith (2017)

To be honest here I had high expectations from this release. I don't know why but I was really looking forward to listening to Mean Streak's newest opus with the title "Blind Faith". And after the first spin all my expectations were fulfilled positively!! Man, this is a great and solid piece of pure melodic hard rock/metal bliss that includes amazing guitar work, powerful vocal lines and a bunch of some killer tunes in it!

Radiation Romeos is a new band formed by the amazing singer Parramore “Perry” McCarty, best known for being the frontman of legendary US metal act Warrior and famed Billy Idoll guitaristSteve Stevens' solo project, Atomic Playboys (in fact, the inspiration for the name Radiation Romeos came from a line in the song “Atomic Playboys").

Musically, the band moves in a melodic hard rock direction with solid, metallic edges thanks to the production of Michael Voss (Phantom 5, Casanova,Michael Schenker), who also contributed to the songwriting. In the studio, Parramore sang all vocals with Dag Heyne handling guitars, Jogi Spittka on bass, and Gereon Homann laying down the drum work with gusto!

AOR Heaven are happy to announce the signing of Swedish Melodic Rock band STORMBURST! The band consisting of bass player Kent Jansson (Six Feet Under, Keen Hue, Steam), guitarist Thomas Hansson (Steam, Coastline), singer Lars-Åke ”Plåtis” Nilsson (Keen Hue), keyboardist Peter Östling (Six Feet Under) and drummer Peter ”Zeke” Ytterberg (Keen Hue, Moonshine Highway) will release their debut album “Raised On Rock” on May 26^th, 2017.

Veteran New York heavy metal power trio THE RODS have been confirmed to play at the 2017 Psycho Las Vegas festival to be held August 18 - 20 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Rods guitarist / vocalist David "Rock" Feinstein has checked in with the following comment:

REVIEW : THE DARREN PHILLIPS PROJECT -- I Believe (single, 2017)

THE DARREN PHILLIPS PROJECT is a new sensational melodic rock band that its goal is to create strong and melodic rock music in a way that is ought to be! With the brand new single "I Believe", the band proves the above mentioned thing in a glorious way.

"I Believe" features Robbie LaBlanc (Find Me, Blanc Faces) on lead vocals, Philip Lindstrand (Strong, Find Me) on backing vocals and mastered by Erik Martensson (Eclipse. W.E.T, Ammunition). Rhythm and lead Guitars, Drums and synth programming by Daniel Skeed.

The song itself is a true highlight! Up-tempo and edgy melodic rock stuff with LaBlanc's superb vocal performances and a chorus line to die for; excellent just excellent!

The last thing that I have to add here is that I'm looking forward to the band's full-length record and the sure thing is that will be a killer one!!! Till then, I have to listen to this gem of a song again and again!!!
