REVIEW : Hardware ‘86 --- Hardware ‘86 (Independent, 2019)

Hardware '86 is a band that brings back the sound of the mid 80's, early 90's, with style, quality and class. A sound that recalls to groups such as TNT, TOTO, Def Leppard, Journey and some 'newer' bands like Wild Rose, Work Of Art and White Widdow to name a few.

HEAVY PARADISE ON STAGE : REDRUM

So, this is it! On 2nd of March I witnessed one hell of a live show! The fact is that I was curious to see live, once again, Michael Bormann and Redrum. I just love their debut album and I'm a huge fan of Bormann's works with Jaded Heart, projects but, also, his solo stuff!!! I was, also, anxious to hear some of their new tracks, from the up-coming album, live.

I was at Eightball at 9.00 o'clock and the band that was playing live that time was Soundtruck. I missed the opening act so I started my evening with Soundtruck! I have to admit that this band rocked me with its 'punchy' southern hard rock and its excellent frontman!! I think that this band has a bright future!! The guitars are sharp with some very good riffs and solos and the musicianship is tight as hell!! These guys performed their set list with heart and soul and I will keep an eye on them in the near future!

• SOUNDTRUCK SET LIST : Feels Like Home, Ride On, Take It Easy, God Damned, On The Run, Wishing Well, Sweet Little Baby, High, Goliath, Straight To Hell

HEAVY PARADISE ON STAGE : JUDAS PRIEST / WHITESNAKE / FIREWIND (06-07-2011)

Brilliant live! Yes, last night's gig left me hungry for more! Thessaloniki's (Gr.) 2310 Festival welcomed thousands of people to see these two monster bands (Whitesnake and Judas Priest) performe live. The opening act was the Greek Power Metal band of Firewind.

Concert Review : Bonfire, Pretty Maids & Firehouse (16/10/10)

(Pretty Maids)

I was very lucky to be in a gig like that! Three of my all time favourite bands were playing in Thessaloniki on Saturday and I really had a blast!

Bonfire were very good as always! Third time in Greece and the band offered an one hour and a half of live performing! They played all of their classics and they also played the 'I'm On My Way' of Gotthard, in the memory of the great Steve Lee, who passed away recently. I'm really impressed of how good this band is on stage!

(C.J Snare of Firehouse)

Next band was Pretty Maids. I never had the chance to see this huge band live and, for me, was the highlight of the night! They opened their show with their new 'Pandemonium' and as you can imagine the crowd was excited!! 'Future World', 'Red Hot And Heavy', 'Walk Away' and many others have followed! A great show from a great band. The only low point was the sound, which in some parts was not so 'clean' .

The last band were Firehouse. I'm a big fan of this band and I missed the opportunity of seeing them live two years ago. They played all of their classics but it seemed that the band was a bit 'tired'. I expected more of  C.J Snare and his boys. But I have to stop complaining because one of my dreams was, finally, accomplished!

A great concert!
