REVIEW : DYNAZTY, GAME OF FACES (Nuclear Blast Records , Release Date :14.2.25)

Swedish heavyweights DYNAZTY are releasing their brand new opus entitled "Game Of Faces" through Nuclear Blast Records on 14th of February! This is the band's eightht full-length opus! 

Dynazty is considered as a 'big' name in today's melodic power metal scene. They started as a killer melodic hard rock/hair metal band and they became a monstrous melodic power metal act. The first three records, "Bring The Thunder". "Knock You Down" and the ultra 80's hard rock gem of "Sultans Of Sin", put DYNAZTY for good into the elite of the new era melodic hard rock bands between acts such as ECLIPSE, H.E.A.T. e.t.c. 

In 2014, they released "Renatus" and that was a big surprise among their fans in regard to the direction of sound. A more mature, heavier and in some parts progressive "Renatus" show the abilities of this band to write heavier and more mature songs that could aim to a wider audience. "Titanic Mass" was an overall amazing record that included some of the best tracks that Dynazty ever recorded. The next three efforts, "Firesign", "The Dark Delight" and "Final Advent" showed once again that this band is without any doubt one of the best of its kind! 

Nowadays, DYNAZTY is back with yet another impressive and high-quality album entitled "Game Of Faces". The first three samples of the new record were "Game Of Faces", "Devilry Of Ecstacy" and the last one "Call Of The Night". All three are the PERFECT example of how melodic power metal should sound; big, in-your-face and with killer melodies enough to make you hungry for more.  

"Die To Survive" is a straight-forward melodic power song with powerful guitars, a lot of keys and the classic 'new' DYNAZTY sound in all its glory! "Fire To Fight" is the brand new single out of the new opus and it's in one word AWESOME! This is a track that grabs you at once and leaves you hungry for more. The ghorus, the melody, the power and the sreaming guitars are all perfectly balanced for your ear pleasure! The heavy "Dark Angel" is yet another highlight while with "Fortune Favors The Brave" we have a clear winner here!!! Probably one of the best songs that this band has ever recorded, in my humble opinion. The harmonies are pure heaven here while the 'clever' hook and chorus steal the show! With "Dream Of Spring" we have a really nice epic metal song that could be described as metal ballad with its more slower tempo.  

DYNAZTY is back with a bang! "Game Of Faces" will end up high in this year's top lists, no doubt 'bout that. It has class, quality, a crystal clear production, amazing performances, killer songs and some breathtaking guitar work!! A clear winner!! Do you want more???
