Dirty Passion is a Swedish Malmö based rock band formed in 2006 by members
Emil Ekbladh (vocals),
Christopher Olsson (guitar),
Björn Wilander (bass) and
Markus Winberg (drums). With main influences from the seventies' and eighties' rock scene, the band plays all original material which could be best described as classic rock.
Dirty Passion's music can be described as the perfect combination between 'old' school of hard rock sound of the 80's, flavoured with some 'new' hard elements. So what are we going to hear from their debut album is a well crafted hard rock album with passionate performances, a solid production, tight musicianship and attitude! I really like
Emil Ekbladh's voice. His voice reminds me of Europe's frontman, Joey Tempest. Another strong point here is the guitar work. Really high class riffs and solos; excellent work!
In "
Different Tomorrow" there are plenty of instant tracks. To name a few, "
Self-Destructive" sounds like it came out from a
Europe album, "
1,000,000 Voices" is a fast paced rocker with attitude and a catchy chorus line. "
Rockin' In The Night" is one of my favorite tunes here. I really can't find a weak moment here. Every single track is filled with (dirty) passion and attitude and the band is givin' heart and soul to deliver a decent hard rock album! Well done!
