REVIEW : TNT --- Encore Live in Milano (Frontiers Music s.r.l., Release: 22 March 2019)

TNT is a great band, there's no doubt 'bout that. I, personally, grew up with their albums and sound. From the epic metal debut of "TNT" (in the band's mother language) to the totally classics "Tell No Tales" (1987) and "Intuition" (1989) this band was always a synonymous to quality, melodies, the crazy guitar riffs n' solos and, of course, the amazing vocals by Tony Harnell.

REVIEW : Free From Sin --- II (Pride & Joy Music, July 2018)

Free From Sin is a band that made its appearance back in 2015 with its debut album entitled "Free From Sin". The feedback was positive and so this Swedish band decided to record another opus. So, nowadays and after some line-up changes, the band strikes back with album number two with the title "II".

Free From Sin consists of  Per Englund (ex-Blacksmith, vocals), Patrik Lämborg (guitars), Fredrik Strömberg (keyboards), Ulf Kronsell (bass) and Paul Ekdahl (drums) and its musical style is basically melodic hard rock/metal that refers to bands such as Rainbow, Deep Purple, Judas Priest and DIO.

The first highlight of the new album comes with the classic "Faces Of Christ". It's a very Rainbow-esque track (just check the guitar work and the vocals) but that's not a problem at all 'cause it's a really solid song all the way. More classic hard rock/metal stuff comes with "Mr. Blakk", "God Made Me Hate", "Break And Burn" (in which the Priest influences are more than obvious) and the straight forward "Borderline" (which is among my faves here). "Deceiver" is yet another fast-paced and very interesting tune out of the new album.

If you love bands such as Deep Purple, Rainbow, Judas Priest or even DIO, then you have to check out Free From Sin's newest effort. It's a damn solid record that includes all the magic of the above mentioned bands.

Rating : 8/10

REVIEW : Jari Tiura --- King Of Lions (AOR Heaven, March 2018)

Jari Tiura is the former singer of Michael Schenker Group, current Stargazery, and he is, also, Century Lost's singer. The big step in Tiura's career came with the Finnish power metal band of Snakegod at the end of the 90´s with the release of “Invitation” in 2001. In 2004, Jari joined forces with Michael Schenker and together, as MSG, they released the album “Tales Of Rock N Roll”.

REVIEW : Voodoo Highway– The Ordeal (2017)

Voodoo Highway is, in my humble opinion, one of the most interesting new bands out there. These hard rockers from Italy grabbed my attention since their debut record, "Broken Uncles Inn", and with their second one, "Showdown", they left a sweet taste in my ears.
