He, also, played bass guitar, keyboards and handled the production steps. All songs, of course, are written and arranged by the man himself.
So, in 'Rise" you are about to hear some really interesting melodic hard rock tunes with catchy choruses, nice arrangements and very good guitar work. With so much good albums this year I think that it will be difficult to build up my 2010's Top-20.
"Fire And Dynamite", which opens the album, is a pretty good fast paced hard rocker. "Follow The Way" is a huge melodic anthem and one of my personal favourites from 'Rise"! "Burning Fever" is another very good track and features some really great guitar licks. Other highlights here are the excellent "Dangerous Love" with a heavy, still melodic rhythm, "Shock Me" and "(Ain't Done) 'Til It's Over".
Overall this is a very interesting release from Avenue Of Allies Records. In fact this is probably one of the best releases from that Record Label! A great combination of classic hard rock mixed with some bluesy and AOR elements and the result is "Rise".

ReplyDeleteHowever, have you forgotten the SORA release ? It's an other good opus from this label :)
Yes Axl, SORA's release is another solid effort from Avenue Of Allies Records! A very good album with some amazing guitar work! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes :) Hey, have you noticed that A. Del Vecchio is sometime working with Avenue Of Allies artists ? Here with F.E.A.S.T., or with PERFECT VIEW, SKILL IN VEINS, etc. Damn, He has to take care of this kind of situation ... I could be the next M.Bormann or T.Mills : a lot of works kill the works !
ReplyDeleteHaha.....he is a busy man!
ReplyDeleteA strong hard rock release! 'Nuff said!
