Having already released two more great efforts, "Kings In The North" (2021) & "Operation Phoenix" (2023), the band continues its music journey with "Wonderland". The new album is a great mix of big/heavy and in-your-face guitars, powerful and soulful performances and, most of all, great songs that will delight the fans of the melodic metal sound.
The self-titled track which opens the new effort is just a great, up-beat and heavy anthem enough to make your day! The chorus is pure gold, if you ask me. "Waiting For You" is a more fast-paced melodic metal gem in the vain of Dynazty's latest works while with "Eye Of The Oracle" the band is delivering a more 'darker' and heavier tune that includes some amazing harmonies!! At this point I have to say that the guitar work from Love Magnusson (DYNAZTY) is out of this world! This guy is, in my humble opinion, one of the today's most talented guitarists out there. Either with his main band of Dynazty or with Crowne this man is delivering some breathtaking solos and riffs enough to rock your world!
"Heaven Tonight" is yet another killer song out of the new album. Heavy with a killer melodic line and a chorus that will make you sing-a-long for days. Excellent stuff! The Dynazty-esque "Timing Is Right" is in one word AMAZING!! Melody and power in a perfect combination in this modern melodic metal diamond!! In the epic ballad of "Goodbye" the incredible vocal abilities of Alexander Strandell are really shining through! The straight-forward hard rocker of "Love The Enemy" is solid while in "Legacy" we are dealing with yet another melodic metal monster!!
An overall great opus all the way! CROWNE with "Wonderland" is delivering a killer melodic metal/hard rock monster that includes bombastic tunes, killer guitar work from the mighty Love Magnusson, incredible vocal lines by Mr. Strandell and an amazing musicianship!! Buy it now!!!
