Swedish female upstarts Thundermother are set to unleash “Deal With the Devil,”
the second single from their hotly tipped sophomore effort, Road
Fever.
Produced
by Thundermother guitarist, Flippa Nassil and recorded at Cobra Studios in
Stockholm, the track is the band’s tribute to the Godfather of rock himself,
Lemmy. It’s also a bit of a departure for the quintet, straying from the
classic rock influenced formula that makes up the bulk of the Road Fever
release in favour of a more straight ahead hard rock vibe.
The
band sums the message of the song up with, “'Deal With the Devil' is a warning
for others to stay away from negative forces.”
“Deal
With the Devil” is out 18 August via Despotz Records.
