REVIEW : Supremacy – Influence (Rel. Date: 30 June 2023 ,Label: Lions Pride Music)

Colombia's melodic hard rock act SUPREMACY is not a newbee in this particular scene. Although the band has only released one album, "Leaders" in 2015, SUPREMACY has played in numerous live shows and shared the stage with legendary bands and artists such as Scorpions, Cinderella and Extreme!!!!

On top of that, SUPREMACY took part in the largest rock festival in Colombia, argueably the biggest free-admission event in the continent, called “Rock al Parque”.

In 2018, the band returned to the music business with the single “Sirius”, Gus Monsanto (ex Adagio, ex Revolution Renaissance) on lead vocals and a record deal with the Danish label Lions Pride Music! So, the band is now ready to present to us its brand new opus entitled "Influence".

“Influence” is a tribute to all of the band’s influences, embracing a variety of sounds, instrumental virtuosism and various musical fields exposed in every song, which make the band unquestionably versatile on the rock genre. A major highlight on the “Influence” CD is the collaboration with the legendary ex-KISS and current Grand Funk Railroad guitarrist Bruce Kulick, who teamed up with the band for one of the main singles of the album.

"Passing Through" kicks-off with its big and very late 80's sound, "Mr.Big Shot" is pure old-fashioned hard rock at its best and "Dance For Me" will kick some major asses with its bad-ass attitude and its nasty groove!! The moodier, melodic and jazzier tune of "DancingWith The Devil" is just awesome while with "Sin Paradise" we have yet another killer song out of the new opus!

SUPREMACY with "Influence" comes to deliver a damn great albumall the way! Melodic as it gets with big riffs and beautiful harmonies along with some solid performances this record is a BIG must have for every fan of the classic melodic hard rock/edgy AOR sound!! Great work!!
