Perfect Plan's newest effort, "Time For A Miracle" is for me one of the most anticipated releases of 2020. The band's debut opus, "All Rise", a couple of years back ended at the first position in Top Heavy Paradise's Releases of 2018. An album that till now is on a daily basis in my cd player. I just love it!!The new release is going to see the light of day this Septemer through Frontiers Music. The band consists of Kent Hilli on lead vocals, Rolf Nordstrom on guitars, Leif Ehlin on keyboards, Fredrik Forsberg on drums and Mats Bystrom on bass.
It's time for the first track of the new album and for the first highlight; "Time For A Miracle" kicks off things here in a very impressive way. A rougher and edgier heavy rocker with Hilli's soaring vocals in front row "Time For A Miracle" steals the show here. "Better Walk Alone" comes to prove why this band could be a leader in this scene; powerful and in-your-face hard rock with attitude, a huge chorus line and some ass-kickin' guitars enough to make you turn it on maximum volume!
So, after these superb two tracks I'm really curious what's coming up next here. "Heart Of Stone" is yet another amazing hard rock track with class and quality. I just love this one! The first slow moment of the new record comes with the beautiful and extremely melodic tune of "Fighting To Win". A track that reminds me a lot of Survivor's earlier works. For sure, another highlight out of "Time For A Miracle". "Every Time We Cry", "What About Love" and "Living On The Run" are all three superb slices of pure melodic hard rock heaven and brings back memories from bands such as The Storm, Survivor and The Giant just to name a few. In "Just One Wish", we have a clear winner; more commercial with a feel-good vibe in it "Just One Wish" is the anthem of this summer! Check out, also, the groovier and 'big'" "Give A Little Lovin'" which is also a great track.
As I already mentioned above, I was very curious about this album and after the very first spin all my expectations were fullfilled in a very positive and glorious way. An overall amazing record that you are gonna love it, period! Killer tracks, soaring and powerful vocals, eadgy guitars and tons of melodies to sing-a-long for days are the ingredients of "Time For A Miracle".
