REVIEW : COFFEINNE -- Circle Of Time (2017)

Coffeinne is a melodic metal/hard rock band from Spain that was formed by David Villarreal (guitars) and Iñaki Lazcano (vocals, ex-Airless) in 2005. Nowadays, the band is ready to unleash its brand new opus which is entitled “Circle of time”. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered between February and July (2016) at Cronosound Studios (Madrid), owned by Sergio Salcedo, guitarist and producer, and features collaborations of , among others Manuel Seoane (Bai Bang, Sinbreed, Burning Kingdom) or Robert Rodrigo (Airless).

As I mentioned above, the band is playing melodic metal with strong emphasis on heavy and in-your-your-face guitars, the powerful vocals and, of course, the necessary melodies and the catchy hooks n' choruses.

The opening tune of "Fragile" is pure melodic metal candy in my ears. Heavy, aggressive and melodious this song is one of the album's highlights and the one that hooked me with Coffeinne at once.  "Fallen Angel" is yet another killer song out of "Circle Of Time"; more straight forward with a chorus line to sing-a-long and some really tasty guitars!! "Take This Life", "Isolated" and "Save Me" are all three solid samples of Coffeinne music!! They features ass-kickin' double-kick drums, powerful and aggressive vocals and big melodies as the cherry on top!!! "The Hate Within" is another winner here; a loud and modern melodic metal anthem with a fantastic chorus.

A true modern melodic metal record that will blow you away with its catchiness, power and melodies!!!!
