I' m a big fan of White Lion. I love everything that this band has ever released , hmm.. not everything because the last one "Return Of The Pride" was not a good one. It was an ok effort but far away from the band's previous works.
Also the solo releases from Mike Tramp, except his first huge effort, for me were a bit average for Tramp's standarts. After the breakup of White Lion, singer Mike Tramp started a new band - Freak Of Nature. Mike saw that the end of the hair-metal dayz coming to an end and decided to move, musically , into a more 'darker' hard rock paths!
Freak Of Nature were not a grunge band, but also they were not a hair metal band. They were a heavy rock band with some really cool tracks. For sure they had elements from the so called 'grunge' era but the music was very melodic and the result of the album was very good. In this album you can't find a new "Wait" or "Broken Heart" , these songs are written once in a lifetime.
