DANGER ZONE / UNDYING (2012)

When guitarist Roberto Priori started DANGER ZONE in the early 80's, nobody believed that these Italians would manage to survive until today. During the first days of the band's life, they recorded several demos and went through many changes in their line up, until the release of the debut album "Victim Of Time" in 1984. The recognition however came several years later, namely in 1987, when it gained more attention in their homeland by the fans and media and they played several gigs in some festivals. In spring of 1988, DANGER ZONE were the opening act for the legendary band Saxon in Verona.

The band achieved to get a good management with the well-known manager Francesco Sanavio who offered them a contract and a plan to infiltrate the band into the American market! The plan was to release an album according to U.S. standards professionally recordings. To get a first taste of the American Rock scene, Danger Zone played at the famous Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles in the summer of '88. Between June and October 1989, they entered the studio for the recordings of their follow-up "Line Of Fire". Unfortunately, because of the circumstances back then, the album never saw the light of day and eventually it has been released many years later in 2011 by the newly formed company Avenue Of Allies.

Danger Zone were back together in 2010 and began to rehearse and record some new songs, of which twelve were meant for the new release. So, the new album, "Undying", comes to be present now and to strengthen even more the Italian melodic hard rock scene. And so the guitar virtuoso Roberto Priori and his gang come to us generously to offer one really solid record with nice melodies, catchy choruses, fantastic guitar work and well-written songs that will make all fans of this particular scene rubbing their hands with delight! The title track that opens the curtain is a very good and powerful hard rock song with inspired melodies and fantastic guitar work by Roberto Priori. Listen, also, the shocking and totally 80's "More Heaven Than Hell", "Desire", "The Dreaming" and "Stand Up" and you'll discover a real gem!
