Album No 2 for Allen-Lande-Karlsson. A mix of Euro hard n' heavy, nice melodies but sometimes a bit heavier than their first one, once again some very good guitar work, lots of shredding but overall not as good as the first one! In my opinion their debut was something really amazing, a classic one. With "The Revenge", we get six tracks that are duets between Russell and Jorn as well as three solo performances from each of the two. The problem with this release is that with their first effort, "The Battle" , they set the bar extremely high with that album and it would be hard to top it. Ok, in "The Revenge" the songwriting is top-notch, the performances are once again perfect the same with the production, but it seems that the band here are repeating themselves. Overall a very good and melodic hard n' heavy release!
