REVIEW : WARNER DRIVE -- ...Till The Wheels Fall Off (2017)

I have to say that the name of these L.A. rockers, Warner Drive, is no stranger to me. Their 2014's album with the title "City Of Angels" was a really solid one and filled me up with positive vibe and included a bunch of some excellent tunes in it. Nowadays, Warner Drive strikes back with a brand new album which is entitled "....Till The Wheels Fall Off".

Sunken Monkey / Party Scars (2014)

Sunken Monkey were originally formed in the early noughties, and draw influences from the likes of NOFX, The Menzingers, Rise Against and Four Year Strong. The line-up of the band has chopped and changed over the years, but the theme has always remained the same – a bunch of friends with a story to tell. Having already released their self titled debut album in 2009, after extensive gigging and at last settling on their current line-up, the band took some time out to write their second album.

JOLLY POWER / ...LIKE AN EMPTY BOTTLE AGAIN (2011)

The band starts out in 1988 thanks to a project created by Luchy Chiva (guitar), Bely (bass) and Dynamite XXX (drums); then they are joined by Elia (vocals). The demo-tape “Like an Empty Bottle” (1994) and the cd “Fashion, Milk and Smokin’ Pills” (1996), recorded with this line-up, let them gain a widespread success both in Italy and abroad; the band has also been included in the american compilation “It’s only Rock’n’Roll but I like it” which includes bands like Vain, Hollywood Teasze and Paradise Alley (1996).
