Since 2000, Frédéric Slama has released 23 albums (!!!) under the AOR moniker and several other projects with the elite of the Westcoast & Melodic Rock scene! Nowadays, Frédéric is back with a new Melodic Rock project entitled “Blue Ambition”, consisting of a power trio of musicians such as Robbie LaBlanc, Tommy Denander and, of course, Frédéric itself!

Strangerland is a Greek AOR band/project that is fronted by Alex Patman from Athens ,Greece. The original name of the band was STRANGER but due to of many bands had the same name, LAND was added and STRANGERLAND was born!!

REVIEW : MICHAEL THOMPSON BAND --- Love And Beyond(Frontiers Music s.r.l. Release: 26 April 2019)

Michael Thompson Band is back with its brand new opus entitled "Love And Beyond" through Frontiers Music. Michael Thompson's debut record, "How Long", was released back in 1988 (reissued in 2007 with three bonus tracks) and it's still considered as one of the best samples of pure AOR/west coast high tech releases from that era.

Michael Kratz is a Danish singer/musician that has a a long and rewarding career in the music business, especially in his home country. Michael in his career played several styles of rock (he was, also, drummer of mainstream pop act, Kandis) and nowadays he is ready to unleash his brand new opus with the title "Live Your Life".

Mindfeels is a new Italian melodic rock band and nowadays they present us their debut record through Art Of Melody Music & Burning Minds Music Group. The band was originally formed, back in 1994, as Dejanira and, after the necessary line-up changes, they changed their name to Mindfeels.

The AORsters HOUSTON are not 'new' in the melodic world. Since the band's creation back in 2010, Houston is synonymous with quality AOR/Westcoast music. With already four albums on their back, these Swedes are now back in business with yet another high-class melodic rock record simply entitled "III".

For sure, this is the album that the die-hards of the AOR/west-coast scene were waiting for years! For me, the band's debut album is a brilliant album and one of my favourite of this gerne. So, after nine years, the band is back to offer us another well-crafted record full of emotional performances, catchy chorus lines and a tight musicianship. It's an album that achieves to combine the west-coast pop with the 80's AOR sound and, most of all, with a fresh melodic air!
