REVIEW : ABOUT US, Take A Piece (Frontiers Music s.r.l. Release: 12 April 2024)

• India is well-known for its culture, the Bollywood film industry and many things among others. ABOUT US is a melodic rock/hard rock band that hails from India alongside other notable bands such as Girish & The Chronicles and Fifth Note.

The band is nowadays ready to release its sophomore album entitled "Take A Piece" through Frontiers Music !!! The band's sound is moving between classic melodic hard 'n' heavy sound and the modern scene with a heavier approach but it, also, includes some progressive moments as well. 

I have to admit that ABOUT US is a really excellent and very technical band and its lead singer Sochan Kikon is a standout vocalist with remarkable versatility and interpretative skills.

So, the question is what to we except from About Us brand new record? The question is simple; Energetic, guitar-driven and technical hard 'n' heavy rock stuff with strong melodies and very good songs! The mix of many styles (Hard Rock, Modern AOR, Progressive and Melodic Metal) makes the final result very interesting and attractive to every fan of the rock music in general. For sure, you can't categorize this album, no way! As I already mentioned above, "Take A Piece" is a very interesting and very refreshing piece of rock music that can't be missed!
