REVIEW : Stonetrip, Run Free (Golden Robot Records, Release: 10 March 2023)

Now, this is a very interesting release from Austalian's hard rockers Stonetrip! Since their debut live appearance in 2019, STONETRIP has established tremendous worldwide reach with four singles & videos, ‘Sideways’, ‘Runaway’, ‘Nightmare’, ‘My Angel’ and their debut self-titled EP entitled ‘STONETRIP’. The band achieved to gain a fantastic airplay support, reviews, interviews and to build a strong fanbase reputation for their high-octane, energetic live performances.

Nowadays Stonetrip is ready to unleash its brand new and full-length record entitled "Run Free" through Golden Robot Records. 

After the very first spin of "Run Free", I have to admit that their music is going 'round and round' in my brain!! So powerful and dynamic with a strong late 70's, mid 80's hard rock vibe that the sure thing is that will make you love 'em at once! The strong 'live performance' vibe is in my humble opinion one of Stonetrip's strongest points. The guitars are 'dirty', loud and groovy and the rhythm section solid as a rock! The rasp vocals by Mark Ritchie fit perfectly with the whole project and in general the final result is really super! 

For the fans of the classic rock scene of the 70's and 80's this is a mandatory must!! Please do a favour to yourself and check this 'bad ass' - rock 'n' roll band of Stonetrip; you won't regret it!!
