Miss Behaviour / Double Agent (2014)

The story of Miss Behaviour goes back in 2004 when Henrik Sproge and guitarist Erik Heikne were both studying Music Management at the Baltic Business School in Kalmar, Sweden, when the idea of Miss Behaviour first came up. Both had a vision to create a band inspired by the great bands of the eighties with a fresh and up-dated sound.

The first Miss Behaviour album, "Heart of Midwinter", was released in 2006. The breakthrough came with the Album Last Woman Standing, released in 2011. In spring 2011, Miss Behaviour competed in Swedish national radio with the song Till we meet again, making the premiere live performance with the current lineup in front of 400.000 radio listeners. Joining forces with former Backyard Babies manager Michael Sundén in 2011, the band hit the roads in the UK.

And, finally, we come to today and the brand new Miss Behaviour album which is entitled "Double Agent". After a the first spin of the new effort, it's clear that we have a winner here; yes, this is the band's best album to-date, period! The songs are catchier, the songwriting is tighter and overall this is a well-crafted that will make proud every single fan of the melodic hard rock scene!

From the opening tune of "On With The Show", it's clear that Miss Behaviour is put heart, soul and more attitude in the new record. This is an edgy melodic dynamite that takes no prisoners. Next, "Double Agent" is what I call 'a catchy as hell' track; a huge and incredible catchy anthem with a killer chorus to sing-a-long for days. "Magical Feeling" 'smells' Def Leppard from miles away while in "Don't Let It End" we are dealing with an up-tempo gem that includes a great harmony, a so melodic guitar line and a catchy chorus. "Midnight Runner" is a very good AOR song and "Dancing With Danger" is another highlight from the new album.

Miss Behaviour is back with a bang! For sure, "Double Agent" is yet another highlight in the melodic hard rock scene, no doubt about that! As I already mentioned above, Miss Behaviour put heart, soul and attitude and at the end achieved to release a strong record that can't be missed by any fan of this genre!
