INSIDE THE HOLE / Impressions (2014)

Inside the Hole is a Sicilian Rock 'n' Roll/Blues band from Montemaggiore Belsito, a small town located in the hinterland of Palermo. The project has been set up in winter 2009, but only in summer 2010 it took shape and consistence thanks to several concerts in the hinterland, where the band performed some original songs.

In November 2011, this rock 'n' roll band recorded its debut album "Beer! Sex! ...And Fuckin’ Roll" featuring 10 songs. The album received excellent reviews and positive comments from national music web magazines but especially from rockers and listeners.

In March 2014, the band signed a deal with logic(il)logic, entered Atomic Stuff Studio (Isorella, Brescia, Italy) and re-registered some parts of the debut album, now called "Impressions".

So, "Impressions" is about an overall strong and rocking bluesy record with solid performances, very good guitar work and well-written songs. "We'll Be Free" which opens "Impressions" shows immediately the abilities of Inside The Hole. Dirty bluesy rock 'n' roll with attitude and a smokin' guitar sound! "I Pay For You" is another killer tune out of this record while the Mississippi influences are more obvious with the amazing "Mary, The Dream" that includes a stunning solo.

There's really nothing more to add here expect that Inside The Hole payed my attention with this record. Solid with a 'dirty' bluesy sound, some very nice guitar lines and well-written songs. If Blues heavy rock is your thing then check this band out!
