DEF LEPPARD / MIRROR BALL (2011)

One of the greatest bands in the rock history are back but, unfortunatelly, not with a new album but at least with their first live release! Def Leppard in their entire career have sold million of albums, two prestigious Diamond Awards and continue to be considered of as one of the most influenced bands in the rock planet.

So, "Mirror Ball" is the band's first live release and it was recorded of the band’s sold-out dates during 2008 and 2009. Also, the album contains three new tracks that will consist of a great appetizer of what's coming next from Def Leppard's camp. The live recordings are showing the high-energy of Def Leppard on stage and the production have the typical Def Leppard lush and polished sound. The guitar duo of Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen rocks as hell and Joe Elliot's voice is still in great shape.

The three new tracks are a fine example of the 'new' Def Leppard era! "Undefeated" is a typical Def Leppard rockin' tune with a catchy chorus line and the band's known backround vocal harmonies. "Kings Of The World" has a totally Queen vibe in it and "It's All About Believin` " is a nice melodic rocker!

All in all, this is an excellent live release from a huge band as Def Leppard is! I hope that in the near future the Lepps will offer to us a new album! Well done!
