BABY JANE / ARE YOU LISTENING (2011)

BABY JANE are hailing from Australia and "Are You Listening" is their debut album released by 100% Rock Records! This is a true hard rock album which is influenced from bands such as Motley Crue, Kiss, Keel or even Guns N Roses, in some parts. The album was mixed in the U.S. by the legendary Michael Wagener (Motley Crue, Metallica, Skid Row) and mastered by Eric Conn at Independent Mastering, in Nashville.

So, with a 'big' name as a producer, a tight musicianship, passion for what they are doin', you can't go wrong with these guys here! "Are You Listening", which opens the album, will get your attention from its very first notes! Ass-kickin' riff, the fat bass along with the very anthemic chorus line and you'll get the picture of what these guys are playin'. "Give It All Up" is a nice rocker, a bit more old-fashioned but, overall, a very good tune. "Li'l Gutters" is typical Kiss-influenced and it would fit perfectly in any Frehley's solo records! "Quicksand" is more U.S. hair metal flavoured and "Can You Keep A Secret?", "Twenty Too Many" and "Miss Scorpio" are examples of what this band is capable of doing when it comes to some up-tempo hard rockin' tunes with great guitar work and a feel good vibe!

All in all, this is a very good start for this band. With albums like that the rock n' roll is still alive and kickin'.....Well done!
