This is a very good hard rock cd! Pure hard/heavy rock sound with some bluesy elements, think the perfect mix between Whitesnake,Y&T, Badlands , Led Zeppelin and some Thunder (their earlier releases) with some amazing solos-riffs, ala Doug Aldrich / George Lynch, from Mark Owers and the result is this fantastic album.From beginning to end, the self-titled debut release from The Psychics is an album that rocks and it rocks hard. Steve Owers' voice is strong and powerfull and reminds D. Coverdale at moments. Highlights here are the opener "portent", the huge rock anthem "we rock" ,the bluesy "change" and "time we tried again".
A very strong release and a must have album! 9/10
