Little Angels / Young Gods (1991)

Little Angels was and still is one of my favourite bands. This record is album number three for this UK hard rock act. I always considered Little Angels as the U.K. 's answer to Bon Jovi. A more commercial and sometimes sleazier sound here than in their first killer full-album"Don't Prey For Me".

The music is somewhere between Bon Jovi and Def Leppard with a strong dose of the L.A. sunset strip scene. They had the attitude, the killer choruses and the musicianship to take this band a step higher, but, 'cause of the grunge revolution they split. So, here you are going to hear some great energetic guitar-driven anthems here like "Back Door Man ", "That's My Kinda Life ", "Young Gods (Stand Up, Stand Up) " "She's a Little Angel " and the fantastic tune of "I Ain't Gonna Cry ".

All in all this is an excellent album full of some really great tracks and very good guitar work. A must have for the fans of guitar driven hard rock!
