Really cool hard rock album by the newcomers Bad City! Bad City comes from Chicago and their music can be described as a mix of 80's arena hard rock with some elements from the new age of modern hard rock. They have a big 'in-your-face' guitar sound without loosing the melody, a powerfull vocalist, catchy choruses and gang vocals. I'm not saying that this debut effort will be a future classic in the rock scene but for sure this album rocked my world. 'Take Me For A Ride' is a damn strong tune with a sing-a-long chorus line and a big guitar sound. A highlight from 'Welcome To The Wasteland'. 'Do You Believe In Rock N Roll' is cool hard rockin' tune while 'Wildlife' , the first single, is an absolute kick ass heavy rock track. 'Look Out!' is another one hard hitting anthem. All in all this is a very interesting release from Bad City and a big hope for the future! Well done...
