Skagarack / A Slice Of Heaven (1989)

This was Skagarack's third release. This album is a bit heavier than in their previous two records. Some Whitesnake influences can be heard here, but the whole result of the album remains 100% scandi melodic hard rock. "Anytime, Anywhere" is the disc's super highlight here. A song that could be easily fits in anyone of earlier Europe's album. For once again  Jan Petersen's guitar work is sensational with his heavenly guitar solos! The production is better than "Hungry For A Game" , maybe because  they had a little help from Michael Wagener. A great disc, full of great anthemic choruses, amazing guitar work and a very good production. A must have!!
