This is what the band states in their official site : "Dear Fans, We are in the final stages of the production of the new album “Firebirth”, which will be released on 1st June. It is the first album with our new singer Nic Maeder which I’m sure is eagerly awaited. The album was recorded in the bands own Yellow House Studio, in Lugano, Switzerland. It was produced by Leo and Paul Lani, who has previously worked with GOTTHARD on earlier albums, (incl. “G-spot” and “Homerun”).

Chris Laney soloalbum nr 2 in 2010

Chris Laney is hiding away in the dungeons of Polar Studios in Stockholm, he is set on writing-mode for solo-album nr 2 wich is planned to be released spring 2010. So far a few killer tracks have been written. Just as on his debutalbum as a solo-artist, he has invited a few friends over to Polar Studios. Just as last time, one song is co-written with Bruce Kulick (KISS, Union, Grand Funk etc). Another song is co-written with guitarist Conny Bloom (Hanoi Rocks, Electric Boys).

Brian Howe started his career in 1983 as lead vocalist for Ted Nugent and in 1984, replaced Paul Rodgers as the lead singer in the legendery band Bad Company! LIPSTIXX 'N' BULLETZ is the new hot name in the glam/sleaze scene. They are from Sweden (of course) and their music is loud and heavy! The band was formed in the summer of 2005 by Andy Lipstixx and Rikki Bullet.They released one demo in the beginning of 2006. Another one demo was released back in 2007 with the title "Bite The Bullet". In 2007 they signed a two album deal with Sleaszy Rider Records and the debut record "Bang Your Head" is now ready to be served!!!

Edguy- news

In 2010 Edguy's priority will be the production of a new album and very few shows will be played in between the song writing and recording sessions only. One of those rare shows of 2010 will be played between August 5th and August 7th at the prestigious Wacken Open Air which the band has played a couple of times already, in 1998, 1999, 2002 and 2005.
