REVIEW : COBRAKILL, Serpent's Kiss (Frontiers Music s.r.l. Release: 19 January 2024)

COBRAKILL is a German Melodic Metal/Hard Rock band that is about to release its second opus entitled "Serpent's Kiss". The new album is going to see the light of day this January (19th) through the Italian label Frontiers Music.

Formed in 2020, CobraKill swiftly garnered attention for embracing the sound, attitude, and ferocity regarding of iconic classic artists such as early Mötley Crüe,  W.A.S.P., Lizzy Borden, and RATT

The quintet, consists of Nick Adams on vocals, Randy White on lead guitar, Tommy Gun on rhythm guitar, Crippler Ramirez on bass, and Toby Ventura on drums.

For sure, "Serpent's Kiss" is an overall solid atempt that features some really intersting and pretty much 80's 'moments'! The guitars are crunchy, heavy and the final result 'smells' late 80's U.S. scene when bands such as Motley Crue, L.A. Guns and Ratt ruled the airwaves! The vocals by Nick Adams reminded me a bit of Pretty Boy Floyd's frontman Steve Summers!!!

As I already said, this is a very interesting release that aims to the fans of the classic Hair Metal/Sleaze/Hard 'n' Heavy 80's scene!! If you are into bands such as Poison, Crue, Pretty Boy Floyd and Ratt, then look no further; this is a must add to your collection!!!

RATING : 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆  (7 / 10 )
