Lions Pride Music feels excited to announce another new signing for 2021!

It's the comeback of the Switzerland's finest Melodic Hard Rockers Gunshy and their 1995 (Long Island) opus "MayDay" to be released in 29 November 2021 on a special 500 limited press with more info to follow in the new year! Happy new Year 2020 from us in Lions Pride Music!
Melodic Hard Rock act based upon former OXIDO "Breaking Down The Walls" (distributed by Polygram Records) members vocalist John Luke, keyboard player Patrick Reilly, and bassist Mark Levin. The album Gunshy "Mayday" which saw studio contributions from the BLACK N' BLUE pairing of Jamie St. James and Tommy Thayer formely with rock giants "KISS" ! Recorded in L.A. California under the supervision of producer Pat Regan (Quiet Riot, KISS, Badlands, Deep Purple, Weird Al Jankovic, Billy Sheehan, Silent Rage, Black&Blue etc...).

"Mayday" is a fine piece of good time AOR in the vein of Bon Jovi and Autograph, with plenty of sing-along choruses and a good dose of keyboards. Opener "Ticket 2 Heaven" is probably the heaviest song on the album, with vocalist John Luke going for an aggressive edge. The chorus is quite impressive. However, the AOR fireworks start with the next songs, "You Take My Heart" and "Last Chance" is more Bon Jovisque, a melodic mid-tempo number, while "Fool" is a more hard-edged track, but great nevertheless. A great hook and a very JBJ-like vocal from John Luke. "Sometimes" is an excellent ballad, with very smooth and clean vocals from Luke. "Superstition" is a cover of a Stevie Wonder-track a departure from the AOR sound to something more groovier, "Love Is A Game" and "Sherry's On Fire" is more impressive, catchy tracks with hints of the eighties' Bon Jovi again. "Music Man" is the band's another big ballad, and last but not least, there's "Friends Or Lovers", another great track that reminds us of early Danger Danger.
