In 1995, in the midst
of the grunge wave, a bunch of young metalheads in the idyllic Swiss village
Düdingen ignored all trends and decided to play traditional heavy metal.
Although mostly ignored by the Swiss music scene, the band managed to gain the
attention of the international press with the release of their first few albums.
Against all odds, Emerald always stayed true to their path and fought
hard to become a force to be reckoned with in the underground
scene.
Fast forward to
November 2018, seven full-length albums plus some member changes later, the band
entered the Little Creek Studio to record their 8th studio album with V.O.
Pulver as producer.
We
proudly announce today the signing of a new album deal with
Emerald
and
welcome the band to the ROAR! Rock of
Angels
roster.
