REVIEW : WORLD TRADE -- Unify (2017, Frontiers Music s.r.l.)

WORLD TRADE is a band that consists of a bunch of some excellent and extremely talented musicians such as Billy Sherwood, Guy Allison, and Bruce Gowdy. "Unify" is the band's third, already, album and it's gonna be released through Frontiers records on 4th August 2017.

The sound of World Trade recalls the sound of TOTO (recent albums), some Unruly Child and will attract some progressive rock fans as well.

The talent of the above mentioned artists who participate in World Trade is without any doubt recognizable. The songs here are well-written, well-performed and include a superb technic, melodies and an overall depth that will please each and every single fan of the rock scene in general.

Highlights from this album are the Genesis-esque "Where We Going", the proggy and more straight forward tune of "Pandora's Box" (which is my personal favorite), the moodier "Gone All The Way", "Unify" (that reminded me a bit of Kip Winger's solo works) and "Again".

For sure World Trade's newest album is the most diverse and kinda of 'difficult' album that Frontiers Records released this year. The talent and the experience of these musicians shine here and at the end the result of "Unify" will leave you satisfy.

Rating : 8/10
