BERGGREN KERSLAKE BAND / The Sun Has Gone Hazy (2013)

Well-known Swedish singer, guitarist and keyboardist, with the admittedly incredible voice, STEFAN BERGGREN (M3-Classic Whitesnake, Razorback, Snakes In Paradise & Revolution Road) met the acclaimed drummer LEE KERSLAKE (OZZY, Uriah Heep) for the first time in 2005 in Friedrichshafen, Southern Germany, when Berggren gave some shows with M3 and Kerslake with Uriah Heep. Some years later, the two musicians ended up together playing live in Zurich under the same band, but not under the flag of BKB yet.

In 2011, Kerslake contacted with Berggren and asked him if they could do an acoustic show together in Helsinki. It was the right time for both musicians 'cause both were looking for a new challenge and so the band of BERGGREN KERSLAKE BAND was born . Old-time friend from Snakes In Paradise, Tomas Thorberg (Snakes In Paradise, Michael Schenker, John Norum) added to the band as the bass player. Berggren, also, brought to the band another very good friend , Joakim Svalberg (Opeth, Yngwie Malmsteen).

The band's sound is the perfect mix between earlier Whitesnake-Uriah Heep with some touches of Snakes Of Paradise and a pinch of 70's rock sound for better balance. Berggren 's vocals are once again amazing and soulful and rightly considered one of the leading voices in this particular scene!!! Rich and flavored keys used give to the final result the right taste and make "The Sun Has Gone Hazy" a very interesting purchase for every fan of classic rock sound .

A 70's hard rock blues vibe, a dirty and raw rock sound , great performances and superb guitar work are just some of the ingredients of "The Sun Has Gone Hazy". Check it out!!
