Simone Fiorletta / “Personalities” (2013)

Simone Fiorletta hails from Italy and in the recent years has managed to 'build a strong reputation in Europe around his name because of his amazing skills on the six-string 'goddess'. This talented guy has already released three solo albums and is well-known for his participation in the progressive metal band of Moonlight Comedy and No Gravity.

His playing here is quite impressive, I must admit, and he manages to combine several elements and   finally the result is not boring. From fusion forms to hard rock and blues to some AOR paths, Simone Fiorletta achieves to combine the melody and emotions with some incredible solos. His compositions are well-crafted with solid arrangements that don't tire the listener. His style resembles the American school and acts such as Vai and Satriani and I would suggest this release in each and every fan of instrumental albums.

In his new essay, Simone Fiorletta cooperates with several famous musicians of the Italian scene as John Macaluso (Yngwie Malmsteen - James Labrie - ARK), Mario Riso (Rezophonic - RockTv - Movida), Alessandro Spaziani and Andrea De Paoli (Labyrinth) among others.

This is one of the best and quality instrumental albums I have heard in many years!
