JEERK / FAMOUS (2012)

JEERK is a band that consists of four young talented men that are all tap dancers!! But, also, they are musicians and very good singers as well!! Jeerk choreographed and staged many events such as SKF's 100th anniversary and the opening ceremony of the European Athletics Championship 2006.



This is Jeerk's first full-length album and believe me it's about a very interesting release! Their music is a great mix of classic hard rock/rock with a groovier pinch but also some funkier 'touches' here and there with killer choruses and solid performances! "You Wait To Live Another Day" seems to be the perfect opener for Jeerk to become famous!!  Catchy with some great arrangements and a chorus line to die for!! "Famous" has an interesting riffing a Queen-esque feeling and a feel good vibe that makes you wanna hear it again and again! "Emergency" has a funkier sound and a more 'modern' sound while "Beautiful Tonight" is a brilliant mid-tempo tune with a huge chorus!! "Get Out Or Get It On" is a kinda off acoustic song with the spirit of early Extreme all over the song.  "Wasn't My Goodbye" is an overall good rocker and "Go Out In Style" seems to be the weakest track here. "On My Own" is another excellent track and this time brings some more pop-ish melodies that make this track a truly highlight! "You Learn" closes the album in a perfect way with its killer melody and the ultra-fantastic chorus!!!

All in all, I have to say that I'm really impressed by these guys and their debut album! It's fresh, it's pop, rock, melodic, funky and most of all is very very very good MUSIC!!! Well done!
