Will Wallner & Vivien Vain : review for "Miles Ahead" & "Idestructible, taken from their upcoming album.

Los Angeles based hard rock artists Will Wallner (Guitarist) &Vivien Vain (Vocalist) announce debut album featuring an all-star line up of guest musicians. The duo have written and recorded several songs and are in the process of recording the final tracks for their debut release.

At this point I have to say a huge thanx to Will and Vivien for sending me their two finished tracks to listen!  "Miles Ahead" & "Indestructible" are both superb pieces of pure old-fashion hard rock stuff with a fresh air!

"Miles Away" features Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath / Dio) on drums and Rudy Sarzo (Ozzy Osbourne / Quiet Riot) on bass guitars! The track starts with a 'classy' riffing and the powerfull vocal lines of Vivien Vain! A well crafted track which shows the capabilities of this dynamic duo! A solid track that leaves you hungry for more...!
Next track is "Indestructible". Another great tune with an inspired riff. It's more aggressive than "Miles Away" without loosing its melody. Overall, I have to admit that I liked these two tunes a lot! The strong point of the album is the guitar sound. It's big, heavy, melodic and you can find some amazing solos and riffs. Vivien Vain's vocals are pretty good. She has a strong voice and she achieves to offer some very good performances.
Bottom line is that, if the rest of the songs are so good as these two were, then next year is going to be Will Wallner & Vivien Vain's year!
Well done......
