Formed around 89 / 90' Damien King, Scott Dilley, Jaime Vokes & Simon Edgerly from the land of the long white cloud ( New Zealand ) started up Mr Scary , character invoked , songs about life & affairs & playing good time melodic rock !. After playing around the local gig scene Damien King & Scott Dilley left for Australia , making the band spread to a wider audience.
Once on arrival they started auditioning for members & found Vic De.Filippis & BK to join. Next they searched for a keyboard player & Ray Martens ( ex Scoundrel ) joined , as Bk left to go on to the band ( Love n' Rebellion ) they audition several guitarist till they found Zoran Markovski.
With the band now a solid unit they went to record a three track cassette at the renowned Billy Fields Studio , playing around the Sydney scene ( Cobra Club , Selina's & around the Kings Cross Area) & then went onto write for a full cd release that was mixed at Damien Gerard Studios & mastered at Studio 301 , which has been released in very limited numbers so get it while you can !! ...... Now the band are set to return live featuring 'The World Can Wait" members supporting Ted Poley & White Widdow !!
