With "Universal Language", Reece, is offering a twelve track album that shows the singer's influences over the years. It's an album for every taste, which means that here you can find some really strong hard rock tracks, with big choruse and melodies, but, also, some mid-tempos and emotional ballads too. I have to say that in some parts, Reece's voice sounds so much like David Coverdale's! But this isn't a bad thing at all. His voice is always a great pleasure hearing it. The main problem here is that there are a couple of songs that are a bit average for Reece's standards. It's one of these albums that doesn't grab you from the very first listening. At least for me, this album worked after a few more listenings and I'm really happy that I discovered a very interesting album.
