JOHNNY BURNING is a band based in Imola, Italy and their sound is in the classic vain of earlier Motley Crue (just listen to “Wrong Shape”), Aerosmith and Skid Row with a strong dose of some newer Sleaze hard rock sound. "Get Up, Get Loose, Get Off!" is the band's debut album and it's a damn good one! Rock N' Roll with attitude, in-your-face guitars and most of all a tottaly 80's party feeling. Maybe the only thing that mixed-up my feelings a bit are the vocals!!
In my ears the vocals are sounding almost female!! But the final result is that it counts. Ok, this album may not be a classic in the near future, but for sure it's a great one to start your party or just to cruise with your car across the city with the volume up to 10 :-)All in all this is a very enjoyable release with some cool ass-kickin' rock n' roll music but most of all well played!
