This effort is a heavy metal album of the highest quality. In this one the mighty Bruce Dickinson have the help of Adrian Smith and Roy Z and the result is a damn good record. The sound is not the classic heavy metal sound that Iron Maiden had in their time. The guitars are a bit low tuned here and they are giving all the heaviness without losing the solos and the melodies! Bruce Dickinson's vocals are powerfull and strong and you can't find any weak performance here. Generally the whole band seems to be tight and they are offering a fine heavy metal album. Also, some modern elements that someone can be hear in "The Chemical Wedding" do not bother. All in all this is a very strong release, a must have for every fan of Iron Maiden and generally for every fan of heavy metal.
