This is the Canada's answer to Skid Row! Sven Gali hit the scene in 1992 with their first effort, and it was a good one. The band had a style very similar to Skid Row with heavy in-your face guitars and a singer with a powerfull voice in the vain of Sebastian Bach. The songs of the album are heavy with strong melodic lines and reminds the Skid's second release "Slave To The Grind", and also there is a perfect balance between the heavy tracks and the mid-tempos.Unfortunately, 1992 was the year of the grunge 'revolution' so the band , as so many bands of that gerne, made an attempt to ride the wave of grunge rock with their 1995 follow-up album but it was a big disappointment. All in all a killer release and an absolute must have for lovers of the big hair metal sound!!9/10
