The Trophy / The Gift Of Life (2009)

The Trophy is a new project collaboration between vocalist Michael Bormann ( ex-jaded heart shouter) and guitarist Todd Wolf (Human Fortress). Together they wrote all the songs of the album and also M. Bormann produced and mixed it.
For Bormann fans ,including myself, it's the same terrific lead vocals as always. The songs themselves are good, nothing more nothing less. For sure there are some great catchy choruses and the guitar work is very good but the whole album, for me, misses something!  Overall a solid release. 7/10
