Places Of Power / Now Is The Hour (2009)

Places of Power is the collaboration between the guitarist/musician Bruce Turgon and the vocalist Philip Bardowell, a very charismatic  singer with a distinct ability to sound like Lou Gramm. This is a melodic rock/hard rock release with strong performances and some outstanding vocals to offer.The only low point here is that the drums are programmed and the sound at times is not as big and clear as could have been. Some great tracks here like the big anthem of the album "The Passage", the heavier " Make Me Believe", "In Your Wildest Dreams" and "Light Of My World". Overall a very good release.7/10
