REVIEW : DE LA MUERTE --- VENGANZA (2017)

Back in 2015, I reviewed an extremely interesting album from a band called De La Muerte (a rock band charmed by the Mexican "Nuestra Señora de la Santa Muerte" cult). That was a damn fine and very powerful album that grabbed me at once and left me hungry for more! Nowadays, the band strikes back with the brand new "Venganza" record.

Tears From Venere are hailing from Italy and were originally formed in 2011. That same year, the band recorded its first music sample and it started doing shows in Italy. In 2014, it entered the studio to record the first full-length album (self-produced) with the title “Temporary Lives”.

ARISING FEAR / Beyond Betrayal (2014)

ARISING FEAR was founded back in 2008 in Augsburg, Bavaria. It is a metal band that combines perfectly the thrashy/metal 80's scene with a more 'modern' metal sound and the result is this heavy to the bone album.

HATETYLER / Vidia (2014)

In 2012, the Italian metal band of Hatetyler presented their debut effort "The Great Architect". In that album, Hatetyler mixed the thrash scene of the 80's with a modern twist but, also, some progressive elements as well and the result was pretty good. And as I said back then, I liked their debut even though the 'aggressive', sometimes brutal, vocals are not my cup of tee.

KILL RITUAL / THE SERPENTINE RITUAL (2012)

Are you hungry for some in-your-face thrashy heavy metal stuff? Then look no further! Kill Ritual is here to offer some bombastic heavy riffing in an old-fashioned way. This is the band's debut album of a band that was formed in 2010 by Imagika lead guitarist Steve Rice and drummer Wayne DeVecchi.

RUN OVER / FEEL THE ANGER (2012)

Andrea Vitelli is the eclectic mind behind the italian metal band RUN OVER. After some years of playing in various rock and metal bands, especially RATTLESNAKE, he decides to create the band RUN OVER with Davide Mai as a singer and Furio Biagioni on the drums. Afterwards, the band evolves with the participation of Leonardo Deri who soon leaves the band after recording the first demo version track "Memory's Gone".
