Here are some facts about N.Y. FURY ;
- Their debut concert was a 1,000-seat sellout
- They were the first metal band to perform on the USS Intrepid, also known as The Fighting "I" for the United States Armed Forces.
- They became the first unsigned band to headline the L’Amour, the Rock Capital of Brooklyn, Club Bene, and the Stone Pony, their first time performing at all venues.
- N.Y. FURY found itself in many newspapers and magazines back then
- They were even talked about on a VH1 Super Group episode
So, the question is why this band didn't made it big back then? I think that many bands of the so-called hair metal/hard rock scene of the glory 80's, early 90's, cause of the grunge-revolution somehow 'lost' their way to success. But no worries 'cause to EONIAN RECORDS we are finally have this little gem in our hands to enjoy a little of their magic.
The music of N.Y. FURY is powerful, hard-hitting with all the melodies, catchiness and attitude to 'wake up' the glory mid 80's, early 90's era with all its glory. Songs such as "Danger I Face", the commercial "Dance" & "If Only You Can See Me Now", the groovier "Bad Enough" and the beautiful ballad of "Just Tell Me You Love Me" are some great samples of a band that had the right 'package' to become BIG back then!! Well done!!!
