I know that I'm a bit late with this release but as far as I'm consered this is an absolute gem of an album. Hailing from Swiss, FIGHTER V released last year their stunning debut entitled "Fighter". The production of "Fighter" is handled by Jona Tee (of H.E.A.T.) and it's about a fantastic melodic hard rock/AOR slice that every single fan of this scene must add to his/her collection.
Pure, simple and edgy "Fighter" is on a regular basis in my cd player and I can't stop whistling every single chorus, every single track of it. Fighter V is heavenly influenced by bands such as Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Journey and, also, from 'new' acts like H.E.A.T., Eclipse and Brother Firetribe to name a few.
The debut kicks-off with some incredible and massive anthems such as "Dangerous", "Frontline" and "Heat Of The City". Songs that include all the little things that we love from this music; big hooks, loud choruses, melodies to die for and a late 80's vibe that you'll adore!!!
The AOR-tastic "There She Goes" is pure melodic rock heaven and it moves into a kinda more commercial way while in "Looking For Action" we have yet another clear winner out of the debut. It rocks in a more U.S. hard rock way and it's among my personal favorites here.
"Turn It Up" is a party anthem, "Can't Stop The Rock", the H.E.A.T.-esque "Into The Night" and the huge power ballad of "Save Your Love For Me" are all top notch melodic and edgy stuff that all are for your ears pleasure!
One of the top 2019 releases that will be a future classic, no doubt about that! Fighter V is for sure the next big thing in the European melodic hard rock/AOR scene!! "Fighter" is an album that will blow you away!! Buy or die!!
