Six Foot Six was formed by vocalist Kristoffer Gobel (Falconer, Destiny, Aldaria) as a vehicle to express his musical influences. With a bunch of some well-known musicians as guests, such as guitarist and singer Niklas Stalvind (Wolf), singer Magnus Winterwild (Axenstar) and singer David Akesson (Quantice), it released its debut opus with the title The Six Foot Six Project.
Nowadays and after its live premiere at Gothenburg’s Hard Rock Café, the band is now back with acoustic recordings of two songs from the debut album. February 15th 2019 will see the release of the track “Frozen Rain” as digital single. The second unplugged single, “Anomina” will be digitally released on March 15th, 2019.
The two songs that are featured in this release are “Frozen In Time” (album version) and "Frozen In Time" (unplugged version). The album version is simply breathtaking. "Frozen Rain" is about a damn fine track all the way. It's extremely melodic and features an incredible catchy melody/chorus line in it. The acoustic/unplugged version it's okay, but I prefer the album version much better.
All in all, I have to say that "Frozen In Time" is about a fantastic melodic rock song that every fan of this sound should check out.
