So as you can all assume and judging from the band's name, Pussy Sisster (with this double 's') plays sleaze/hair metal stuff in an old-fashioned way. Okay, there's nothing new here but I have to admit that these guys are playing their hearts out and at the end, they are delivering a solid album with some really excellent songs in it.
The opening tune of "Arrogance" is just super and very 80's!! A rifftastic hard rock song with some powerful vocals, the necessary catchy hook and chorus and all the attitude from the late 80's hair metal scene included. Nice!! "Legends Never Die" is a really good track. This one is movin' to some more melodic rock paths and I like it a lot. "Memories" is one of my personal favorites here; a superb slower cut with a powerful chorus in it and a melody that sticks into your mind at once. The 'punchier' "Monster" and "No Way Out" are very good while in "Take Two" the guys deliver an excellent rocker.
Bottom line is that Pussy Sisster is yet another hard rock band that has all the 'package' for bigger things in the near future. The songs are all good and features strong arrangements, crunchy guitars, good vocals and the right attitude!!
